The RAIN network is formed by seven artists' initiatives in Argentina, Mexico, Mali, South Africa, India and Indonesia, and the Rijksakademie in the Netherlands. Via RAIN attempts are made to strengthen the lines between artistis from the various continents. Topics of the exchanges were the tensions between local and global culture and between Western and non-Western art and artists.
